Volunteers
Would you like to volunteer? Even if you only have one or two hours a week to offer, we would appreciate the opportunity to work with you as a volunteer in our school.
As a school community, we welcome your support and encourage you to volunteer whenever you find it convenient to do so. We want you to know that you are always welcome.
There are many opportunities to volunteer, including extracurricular activities, in the classroom, working on school committees, and at home projects to name a few. Currently, we are seeking people to assist in tutoring students in reading and math skills during the school day. Click here for more volunteer opportunities.
As a District 51 volunteer, you will need to fill out the appropriate paperwork each year. You may pick this up in our main office or download it off the District 51 website by clicking here.
As always, we encourage you to call us at 254-4720 if you have any questions or ideas that you would like to share related to volunteering at Mt. Garfield Middle School.
