MESA
Our MESA Program is part of School District 51, State MESA and National STEM-based MESA programs. We receive some operating funds from the District. We raise more than three quarters of the funds we use for activities ourselves. The goals of our program are to promote good scholarship, promote good citizenship, and to spark an interest in math, engineering, and the sciences. Our primary mission is to provide a means for females and minority students to explore and participate in activities to promote math and the sciences. We have instituted these rules to help promote these goals. If you have questions or concerns about them please contact the MESA.

National History Day Club
This year’s National History Day (NHD) contest theme is “Revolution, Reaction, Reform in History.” Students will explore questions like:
- What events or ideas trigger revolution, reaction or reform?
- How do societies respond to change, and how do those responses lead to further change?
- What is the difference (or connection) between revolution, reaction and reform in historical context?
Through research and project creation, students will delve into these critical topics and develop historical thinking skills. The culmination of our club’s efforts will be presenting projects at the History Fair Day at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) in the Spring of 2025 ( Date TBD ).
